The Waldorf Astoria Driving Experience Puts Guests Behind the Wheels of Supercars

Automotive enthusiasts staying at Waldorf Astoria properties this year will have the opportunity to drive some of the world’s most coveted supercars, thanks to the second installment of the Waldorf Astoria Driving Experience. Guests who book the package will get the chance to drive a selection of powerful cars—the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren MP4-12C, Porsche 911 GT3, and the Lamborghini Huracan or Lamborghini Gallardo (depending on location)—through scenic routes in North America, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates.

The driving experience is led by the world-class race champions Didier Theys (North America), Vanina Ickx (Europe), and Eric van de Poele (United Arab Emirates) and lasts for two and a half hours, with stops for meals along the way. Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions are offered at 12 of the 26 Waldorf Astoria properties.
According to Theys, the coaching and advice provided should allow drivers of all skill levels to have a memorable day behind the wheel. The cost of the experience is $999 per couple (excluding accommodations), and reservations can be booked for dates from May through December, 2015.
