Hotel Healdsburg and Jordan Wines Launch Culinary Journey

Hotel Healdsburg and Jordan Wines Launch Culinary Journey

Beginning in June, Hotel Healdsburg and the Jordan Vineyard and Winery, located in Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley, will offer a two-night stay at the hotel paired with meals centered on locally sourced food and wine. The Farm to Fork Culinary Journey includes two tickets to the new three-hour Jordan Estate Tour and Tasting, which begins at 9:45 am Thursday through Monday and takes participants on a guided tour through more than 1,000 acres of rolling landscapes, vineyards, and overlooks, including a visit to the chef’s own garden.

First on foot and then by vehicle, the tour continues with a ride to a secluded corner of wine country for a sampling of Jordan’s Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon wines and its estate extra-virgin olive oil. The package also includes a harvest breakfast each day, valet parking, a bottle of Jordan Chardonnay, and a four-course dinner for two at the hotel’s Dry Creek Kitchen—prepared by chef Dustin Valette, a Sonoma County native—featuring seasonal ingredients and wine pairings from Jordan’s estate. The Farm to Fork Culinary Journey is available through October 2014, with prices starting at about $1,300.
